I watched Kim Kardashians Masterclass and this is what I thought.

I took the time to watch the Kim Kardashian Masterclass over the New Year break and thought I would review it for those who were curious about it but were not sure about if they wanted to subscribe or pay for Masterclass.

First of all, unlike many of the Masterclass series you can watch, this is not a series of episodes. It’s an 1:18 minute video called ‘ The New Rules of Business: The Ten Kimmandments with Kim Kardashian’.

Yes the heading is corny and a little cringe (but that is the Kardashians style, they are known for leaning into the witty and corny as part of their personal branding, and I kind of love the juxtaposition of this with the classy surrounding homes and aesthetics they often have.)

But this isn’t about the Kardashian lifestyle, it’s about whether or not this video is really worth watching and what you can get out of it.

So let’s get straight to it – what did I think of The Ten Kimmandments?

Well….. I loved it.

There are often a lot of fluff pieces spat out by celebrities or influencers when it comes to videos or books about business or providing advice in business, and you often don’t know what you are going to get, but it became pretty clear quickly minutes into this video Kim Kardashian meant business (pun intended).

Her video not only provided a background into her early years in business (well before she even had her own tv show or her retail store DASH with her sisters, she made and sold headbands as a teenager) but also the exact strategies and decisions behind how she runs her business, why she implements those decisions and strategies, along with providing real world examples of what the results were in her business.

I love this kind of style of video, I found myself writing lots of notes and even generating ideas for my business from this video and I would say that it would be next to impossible for any business owner to watch it and not come away with at least 1 great tip, strategy or idea they could implement in their business – even if they didn’t like Kim Kardashian herself.

She provides great tips on how to innovate in your brand and come up with new ideas, how to compete in the market when the market is already saturated and goes into branding and a brands voice.

She also gives great advice on how to sift through what you do best to lean into that you can make part of your business or into a business if you are not sure which direction to take (great for those just starting out with an idea).

So if you intrigued about the Kim Kardashian Masterclass, I would say it’s worth your time, it only goes for just under an hour and twenty minutes, is short, sharp concise and has practical tips and advice.

You can watch her video by signing up to masterclass (although be aware it is an outright payment, no monthly installments like some other streaming providers) and at times they will have a special deal or sale on so keep that in mind if the cost is too high for you at the moment.
