My 2026 Goals

Ah, a new year is upon us. And if you are a business owner or side hustler like me that means a fresh wave of ideas and goals to be thought about, worked on and smashed out.

So what are my goals for 2026. Well, for me this year will look so different to any year I have had yet. For starters I finally have my products to sell, and this just really makes things a whole new level of real and exciting. It also means I have to step into another role that I have not had to add to my skillset or to do list - marketing and sales manager.

But that’s fine, another task in your business just means you have moved past your old stage and have stepped into another area of growth.

So what exactly are my 2026 Goals.

  • Network more - I only started getting into networking in 2024, before that I didn’t really feel I had a place in the networking community as all I had was an idea, but I think I was wrong about that. Networking made me realise that there are plenty of tips and advice to be had and shared with those who have alreay walked the path, making it easier for you if you are starting out, so in a way I regret not doing it sooner.

I absolutely loved networking, and I have realised that I have never regretted any networking event I have been too, and all have put me in contact with someone or something that I have needed to connect with in my business.

So my goals this year are to find at least 3 networking groups or events I can attend.

  • Grow my social media - This is a no brainer, I intend on growing my social media for not only two different brands, but across three different channels, with a focus on Instagram and Tiktok, am I biting off more than I can chew, absolutely, but as social media is the foundation of all good businesses in a modern world and it’s the cheapest way to get your brand heard, I have no choice. I want to get my TTO followers up to 2k, my Multus the label followers up to 1k and 100 followers for Jane and a plane. I know these are small numbers but I want to focus on quality not quanity and I want engaged followers.

I also don’t plan on running any ads for my Jane and a plane IG so hence the low number. I don’t have set metrics for tiktok as I am so new I am still learning the basics and don’t have a great gauge of what would yet be realistic for me.

  • Learn more - This means sticking to a regular reading schedule, having a monthly podcast I listen to and getting into a routine of watching videos on certain topics I want to get better at, this seems to be something I kind of let slip last year, especially in the final 6 months of the year. I know that knowledge is really great way to propel your business and free knowledge = free growth

  • Get 3 retailers for Multus the label - I want to get Multus stocked into three boutiques, if I can do this, I will be beyond happy and ecstatic with myself.

  • Document and celebrate my wins - In business we focus so much on what we haven’t achieved and what we haven’t done, that it really detracts from the growth and challenges that have been overcome and can sometimes really ruin what many of us in business forget - that business is a journey and an adventure. My mantra this year is to focus on my wins when they happen and not so much about deadlines.
